Did LXDE or OpenBox change recently, did either one break?
« on: January 16, 2010, 11:56:41 PM »
I just booted up a fresh copy of TC 2.7, installed LXDE and restarted X but LXDE only half loads up. The task bar is there, however the background is not managed and the mouse cursor is permanently a big X. PCMan doesn't work, neither does clicking on the desktop and the Wbar is there without being killed.

Actually come to think of it, the issue might be OpenBox. I can't open it's configuration manager and windows don't have any decoration.

Anyone else see this?

update libstartup-notification and install the libxcb and libxcb-util extensions

Installing libxcb-util did the trick, thanks! Is this a temporary issue?
