Commandline Appbrowser error
« on: January 12, 2010, 09:39:52 PM »
It starts up just fine and can do everything except get the extension. The X version has no trouble with any tasks. There is no specific error message.

Thoughts?

Need more information. At the very least, show us the output of an attempt to get an extension. Otherwise it's pretty much impossible to help you.

The RAM mode was removed in the later TC releases. Had you perhaps turned that option on ("install")?

I just did a test on MC-2.8rc2, working as expected.

As an aside, I don't know if I should remove support for earlier versions. I don't think I want to bloat it by having version-checking code either. Maybe later.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

I'm running the latest stable version of TC.  I tested it again and it does not download.

It can do everything else, but displays an "error" in the right pane with no specific message about the error when I attempt to download.

The command line appbrowser works perfectly fine for me in 2.7 and 2.6.

If you dont tell us what the error message is, we can't help you. Try copying and pasting that error message you see so that the rest of us can see it.
