Title: LXDE and OnDemand in TC 3.4

If I load an extension OnDemand with the AppBrowser, it will be displayed correct in the LXDE menu but without any function.

I have read that OnDemand has changed in TC 3.x but how it works now, I still have not understood.

I have a similar problem. I am using TC 3.0 and installed several extensions and about 7 extensions as
on-demand. Among the on-demand extensions I installed openoffice3.org from the repository.

When I load and start on-demand extensions everything works fine. The icon appears at the bar and
I can click and start the extension.
As soon as I try to invoke openoffice as an on-demand application - nothing happens. From this point on I am slo not able to start other estensions from my on-demand part.

I have no clou what the problem is and mybe somebody can help us.

I can see the onboot extensions in.
/mnt/hda1/tce/optional       (my tce is on FAT 32 in hda1)

I can alos see my onboot extensions in:
/mnt/hda1/tece        ( here is my onboot.lst file )

Now, what I am looking for is a folder with the on-demand extensions?

And if there is a file which works with this extensions f.i. somethink like a ondemand.lst?

Can somebody help us?

This is not a bug. LXDE doesn't support Ondemand.

Mmh, but all OnDemand extensions (firefox, geany, thunderbird, gpicview ...) which I have installed before upgrading to TC 3.4 are working in LXDE ...

They appear in the menu as e.g. "OnDemand Firefox" and after clicking this entry the application will be start and an additional menu item is created (LXDE -> Internet -> Firefox).

Only these extensions are working which were installed before the upgrade. All new (OnDemand) extensions are displayed correct in the menu but without any function.

No problem with 3.4 and LXDE for me.
Just tested....

xmms as ondemand
xchat2 as ondemand
openoffice3 as ondemand

All worked as expected.
Rebooted, still worked as expected.

Loaded
emelfm as ondemand
gtkfind as ondemand

Worked as expected.

Loaded abiword as download only
loaded beaver as download + load

Used appsaudit ondemand to move
abiword and beaver to ondemand
xmms and xchat out of ondemand

All worked as expected.

Your didn't say from what version up updated.
There are many changes along the way that are described in the release notes.
If these are not followed then expect the unexpected.

Check the release notes... at some stage, OnDemand details changed and you were required to re-create your OnDemand entries. So delete the old OnDemand entries from 3.3 and start again.
