Firefox says "Server not found".

I have installed TC on an 8GB USB stick. I installed Firefox and Xmarks and fetched my bookmarks from the Firefox server. Firefox worked perfectly and I visited several sites.  I rebooted and Firefox said " Server not found"  on every site I tried to visit.  I have Ubuntu 11.04 installed on another USB stick and Firefox works perfectly.      I should be most grateful for some help to solve this.

Perhaps you forgot to do a backup at shutdown to save your network configuration.

I thank you Gerald_Clark for your help. Yes you are corrrect, I did not back up at shutdown. This is my first time to use TC and I did not know it was necessary to backup. Can you please tell me how to get Firefox working correctly.
