I have inadvertently installed forth and smallbasic rather than as on-demand.
How do I now uninstall then or convert them to on demand please?

See the apps audit tool for a gui that does what you want, or otherwise remove the offending apps from the file onboot.lst in your tce directory. (eg, in my setup, /mnt/sda3/tce/onboot.lst)

I used the audit tool and that worked. It's not very intuitive to use though, took a bit of figuring out.
I have small basic loaded for on-demand and it shows in the on demand menu. But when I click on it nothing seems to happen. Same for the doco entry.
What am I missing please?
