HOWTO: Embedded flashblock (pluginblock) in Opera 10.5x
« on: July 09, 2010, 05:34:10 AM »
If you are using Opera Turbo mode, you probably noticed that Opera blocks every flash object. You can get the same result without Turbo mode.

1. Paste this in address bar
opera:config#UserPrefs|EnableOnDemandPlugin

2. Mark the spot.
3. Save settings.
4. Restart Opera.

Now, all objects that depends on plugins, will be blocked.

You can dynamically toggle enabling/disabling of plug-ins by Alt+T -> Q -> U  ;)
Restarting seems redundant.
Personally i have added a button for this function (amongst others) to my status bar,
so it's just one click to enable on demand.
