27 Km South of Brisbane, Australia.
I live just 30 miles from the center of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and I get no broadcast televis1on reception at all. I don't miss it a bit
When I first moved out of home (20 or so years ago) I did not have the money for a TV, and discovered to my amazement, that the radio was a great alternative. And not the commercial stations either, I would put it on classical or jazz instrumental stations and read books about history or some fiction. It was a great and peacful time, then my parents came round to visit + drop off a TV and i've been zombiefied ever since....
I often remember the peace but can't seem to throw the TV out.
i keep tv around only to play console games.
also, in my country there is an ongoing migration to DVB-T broadcasting, and my tv is not capable of that standard. and don't really feel like getting a new tv or a receiver box - problem solves itself
