microcore and startup script

A Linux Newbie using microcore 2.8 to build and test Lodable Kernel Modules.

So far, microcore has worked flawlessly and is amazingly simple to use. I have found the right linux to learn and build from. Thanks to the TinyCore and MicroCore team!

I have microcore installed (munally) on hard disks/compact flashdisks.

2 Questions:

1) How do I create a start up script to insmod my kernel modules at boot?

2) Is there an automated/scripted way to install microcore?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) add your commands to /opt/bootlocal.sh

2) the usbinstall script can be used, if erasing the target hd is acceptable.

Answer 1. Does that mean add a /opt/bootlocal.sh to my /mnt/hda1/ compact flash disk location? The actual /opt/bootlocal.sh location on my current system is running in RAM. I did not read how to make this persistent to the compact flash disk.

/opt/bootlocal.sh is part of your backup.
