You can install jwm the same way as installing other programs.If you are using Tiny Core, that's all you need to do.If you are using Microcore, remove flwm.

how to remove flwm and install jwm?
Install the jwm.tcz extension using AppBrowser and reboot. Mike

Adding jwm.tcz extension to your persistent tce dir should be enough to to use JWM. Using the bootcode would attempt to force JWM, and may produce an error that can be checked in /tmp/wm_errors.
