Solid State Drive. or disk.......... SSD

There is a drive present. The term drive refers to a storage device and the prefix describes the medium used:
Tape Drive - uses a flexible strip that resembles a spool of tape as a storage medium.
Floppy Drive - uses a flexible disk shaped storage medium.
Hard Drive- uses a rigid disk shaped storage medium.
Solid State Drive - uses non volatile memory chips as a storage medium.
Ram Drive - uses volatile memory chips as a storage medium.
