If you're looking to convince one of tinycore user base to make an extension, you might want to specify which one you want - cinelerra-cv, cinelerra-gg, cinelerra-hv or something else.

cinelerra-hv (sensible)

Is the warehouse added !?

I am in the process of transition to linux,
there are many programs I want to use,

this transition process is actually like the transition process of millions of people like me,

for the first time, linux users; (fish out of the water:)

what I want in the application library,
and I'm making a list of what I see missing. A complete transition will not make sense for me. its infrastructure is important,

You've been transitioning to Linux since your first posting on this board since 2012.

By now, I think you would see that Tinycore Linux (and relatives) are all volunteer efforts with limited resources.  And that other distributions would meet your needs better.

From your postings, it reads like an agenda to turn Tinycore into something that it is not.

What I suggest is that we incorporate a donate button, so that you may be able to financially support an endeavor like this with paid participants, server space / rentals and so forth.

Google translation again made the wrong translation;

the last line will be;
requested application library programs
To switch to Linux; for a complete infrastructure; a list of important ones;

all the programs in the existing warehouse system;
the system can be installed; As a 10mb, it can occupy space up to 10 gb.

The applications I suggested may seem too big.
there are smaller programs of the same quality, but can we not see them?

video editing programs are already very limited, such as a copy of someone,
only 1 or 2 of them can offer professionally improved service.

when it comes to donations;
TCL offers 20 Mb of service;
other linux distributions consume 2 gb of the same service.
In this respect, TCL provides a space saving of 1.9gb! :)

people do not select TCL to use linux kernel.
to use programs that use a utility
it uses the system infrastructure.

I would like to create a TCL with 1gb in size.

millions of people think like me.
because I look at the event as an end user.

right now I had a practical idea;
Like Firefox_getLatest application;
* .appNAME_GetLatest in other applications
* .tcz files without downloading * .tcz files from the Internet to download the * .sh script is created; this relieves everyone's workload. I think :)

I am writing with google translation; in this article, if there is a lack of expression, I apologize

If you look here:

http://www.heroinewarrior.com/cinelerra.php

..there's a pre-built binary you could perhaps use to try cinelerra out.

Application extensions are user created and submitted.  Therefore if you want it, it's up to you to create and share the extension thank you

I am not familiar with the command line
tinycore is more of a toolkit than a full-blown distro, so you are expected to be willing to learn how to use the command line.

In this case:
Code: [Select]
$ wget https://sourceforge.net/projects/heroines/files/cinelerra-7-x86_64_xenial.tar.xz/download
$ tar xf cinelerra-7-x86_64_xenial.tar.xz

Hi xor

Tinycore provides the minimum required to boot most computers, that is why it is small. It includes no programs.

The 2Gb linux distributions include support for video boards, wireless network, input devices, plug and play scripts, and much more.
They also have a much larger selection of programs available.

because I look at the event as an end user.
That is why the 2Gb linux distributions exist.

Tinycore is for people who:
1. Are willing to spend some time learning about Linux.
2. Do not insist others do everything for them.
3. Understand Tinycore starts as a bare bones system.
4. Understand you need to do the work to customize Tinycore for your needs.
5. Understand it is not plug and play, and never will be.
6. Have some understanding of the command line, or at least take the time to read some online sources about it.
7. Will at least attempt to make some extensions instead of bombarding the forum with requests for programs they're not sure they want.

I don't think any of the items in this list describes you.

I suggest you try a larger linux distribution because the larger selection of available programs will make it easier for you figure out which
programs you like.

I am writing with google translation;
If there are nonsense and meaningless sentence structures,
please provide feedback
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An operating system can be between 1 MB and 100 GB.
systems that hold log files; looking at file access information
100 gb operating system; it is extremely simple to extract unused files at all times (look at by date of access; find and delete :).
 turning a heavy operating system in the middle into an extremely light operating system, it's that easy!
Because of the file fragmentation on the HDD or SSD over time, system access speeds are falling too much.

When looking at some model computer system produced like 1985 ~ 1989;
After all this time,
data access time to the operating system unchanged,
and there are still examples running like the first day;

Commodore 64 or Amiga 500 have 2 features of these systems

in these systems; operating system = some kind of ROM integration,
and are based on RAM disk system for slow running.

and to this day;
TCL can work on RAM completely,
and directly via USB; It can work in the form of ROM.iso.
I find TCL reasonable in this respect.

end user literally;
desktop user habits literally;
According to the programs used;
collecting almost 10 main functions;
but unfortunately most successful programs are not used by the same libraries.
in this case, the unwanted file is causing obesity.

Maybe you can imagine this but with the "webassembly" you can dream real :)
http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,22818.0.html

in the future; "webassembly" and "TCL" is the future of tomorrow. :)

I just look to the past and see the future there :)

The future;
in the past, it is a utopian dream of a day believed to be the completion of unfinished projects.

File fragmentation on SSD’s does not cause any significant performance issues

But why even discuss this?

Maybe you should check if it works with tinycore first?

Open a terminal window and then:
Code: [Select]
$ cd directory_name [directory where you downloaded the file]
$ tar xf cinelerra-7-x86_64_xenial.tar.xz [uncompress the downloaded file]
$ cd cinelerra-7.1/bin [folder containing cinelerra]
$ ./cinelerra [run the program]
