wbar icons
« on: February 03, 2017, 08:22:36 AM »
Hello! I installed Opera browser using "OnDemand" option. It appears in the system menu in "OnDemand" section. When I launch Opera from this "OnDemand" section it's icon also appears on wbar, but after the reboot that icon disappears. Is there any way to save icons for OnDemand apps in wbar?
My PC:
CPU Pentium II 400 MHz
Motherboard GA-6VX
Video Nvidia RIVA TNT2

Memory 128 MB SDRAM

Hi Borzalex
Use the  Apps  utility to move Opera from  OnDemand  to  OnBoot.

But this way will require more memory, isn't it? The thing is that my PC has very limited resources...

Hi Borzalex
The only memory used is a few hundred bytes per extension for loop mounting.

Mounted extensions do consume much memory just a small one for symlinks. Most likely it is OK for you. Most important impact is a slower boot.

Code: [Select]
tce-load -i opera
cp /usr/local/share/pixmaps/opera.png /etc/sysconfig/tcedir/ondemand/opera.img
