yes. Thanks for xxxterm.
One of the many many great features it has is the "low contrast mode" by a simple
press of the "s" key. Not seen that before.
it was interesting to read about the guy that wrote "Xxxterm".
He invented the world wide web along with the Team that was headed by
Tim Berners Lee in 1990.
The team then needed a tool to navigate their
new invention called the "world wide web" network.
So they wrote a web browser tool and
simply called it "world wide web" browser.
They gave it out free.
It was the first ever gui web browser.
Later that web browser was renamed "Nexus" web browser, this avoided confusion with the core invention the team had made, which was the invention of the "world wide web" network at CERN.
New browsers then arrived thick and fast..... such as Mosaic etc.
New browsers started to arrive on more wide spread operating systems, where-as the "world wide web" browser had just been on the NextStep operating system in CERN........ the team worked at CERN.
Today, 23 years later, there are thousands of web browsers.
"XXXterm" is his new browser (started 2010), 20 years after he worked on whats mentioned above. He's a pretty important person.
