Without knowing the details of teh specific package doesn't important what is the new condition. What is important wether version in repo compliant to conditions were valid at the time for the given version when extension was created.

The new license does not read as MIT or GPL so we have to look at the original maintainer's alleged license and he says go to source.

So, I make a formal request. I would like a copy of the source code for our current tcz. If you can not find it, may I suggest its easier in the long run not to to focus on one historical point, but take the view that TC and its reputation is to comply with open source disto guidelines and I allege you can't produce the source code for this tcz. I may be wrong.

so I allege downstream maintainer caused product to fall into the modification area as files were removed AND no original license attached to tcz
and repackaging was performed

Now if someone wanted to update and include the license inside the tcz and do the correct wording, I would be happy with that but AFAIK we are not complying with the original license
