USB soundcard?

Yes, I am using the Logilink UA0053 USB soundcard for two of my raspberries. I had one die after one day of playing music. I got a replacement and it's working fine. One of these is in my portable raspberry radio (see: link), which runs Tiny Core. That one I don't use to often because of my wifi problems. The other one has been running almost every day for several hours since Christmas. It's attached to some ceiling speakers in my kitchen. That one is running Raspbian Wheezy. The sound is quite good.
These are very cheap, I bought them for 6 euros each.

And I am using the Behringer UCA 202 USB soundcard for another one. This raspberry is also running Raspbian Wheezy and is attached to a network speaker in my living room. This soundcard has excellent sound quality. Of course this speaker is better then the ceiling speakers too.
This soundcard is a bit more expensive, around 30 euros.

thanks for the feedback, comments. I'm looking for soundcards primarily for amateur radio communication like digital modes (RTTY, PSK, Packet Radio), SDR (Software Defined Radio) or DRM. Preferred with 24-bit and 192kbit/s sampling rate and low noise, but to main feature it works with piCore

Got optical Audio out of the Pi using this:

interesting indeed....USB audio works with the Pi...meaning if the USB soundcard also has a MIC input then that will also work

i buy those 49 cents CD quality usb soundcards new on ebay.com. They are perfect and have a MIC input also
