network problems with a RealTek 8111C gigabit ethernet

We are installing TC into an intel D945GCLF2 MB and have problems detecting and configuring the nic.

We don't even see and eth0 device under the net configuration panel. Please help.

it may not be necessary, but it might help someone here if you post the output of dmesg and/or lspci -k.

The outputs of dmseg and lspci -k are too long and in neither is a reference to nic, lan, eth0 or similar. It seems as if this HW could not be detected and therefore non existent. Hope this helps. how can we save the outupt of either command into a file saved into a USB key so we can post it?

Try stdout redirection, i.e.
