ClamAV conf file permissions oddness

Hi all,

In order to test documentation I'm writing, I am removing and restalling the clamav.tcz extension in a cycle.

Each time I use the "Load local extension" feature of the AppBrowser GUI to load the clamav.tcz extension, the following files:
- /usr/local/etc/clamav/clamd.conf
- /usr/local/etc/clamav/freshclam.conf

Show ownership of:

Code: [Select]

-rw-r--r-- 1 johns staff 14145 Aug 13 08:01 clamd.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 johns staff  7774 Aug 13 08:01 freshclam.conf

I can fix it easy with sudo chown.

I remember setting those permissions while experimenting a little while ago. I made an assumption that each time I reinstalled an extension all permissions would be reset.

Clarification would be welcome
