No icons or terminal emulator in FLWM Microcore, but the WM works fine

I got Xfce4-panel (I don't know how to start it), and its apps got added to the WM, but they don't open. Firefox works, though.

Tiny Core comes with a built-in terminal named aterm.

Not sure what icons you're expecting, i believe a base install loads wbar along the bottom of the screen.
