Gparted cannot create swap partition
« on: January 19, 2009, 04:26:04 AM »
Hello folks,

I was glad to find gparted. I report a small bug.

If I try to create a swap partion, it's fail since the actual mkswap command is from busybox which seems to differ from the official one ;)

Regards

Thierry

Hmm - thanks, I hadn't spotted that - I guess the full version from Util-linux-ng is required.

'Makes me wonder if one/more of addpart, delpart, fdformat, fdisk, mkfs, mkswap, mount, swapon, umount, etc might be required rather than the busy box version for some obscure gparted function...
