Here is wvdial.tcel.  For those who have dialup ( qb4, others :-) ), please help test it thoroughly.

NOTE:  This package will require testing and further development as it is non-functional as it is.

No, and I will take care of that tonight when I get home as I mentioned in the other thread.

This extension has been removed as it does not function and will require rebuilding and further development and testing.

Sorry to dig this topic up but any chance of seeing this put back in and/or explaining what the problems were with it being removed in the first place?

Here is info on how you can connect to the internet using a dial up modem.

To be honest I don't remember exactly what the issue was beyond not connecting.  I haven't used dialup in years, so it would not be a good investment of my time to revisit it or maintain the package even if it worked well.  And I always used pppsetup or gtkdial back then anyway. 

Pehaps someone familiar with wvdial could make an extension.
