BPRandr – A Lightweight Monitor Configuration Tool for Xorg
« on: October 21, 2026, 11:45:48 AM »
Hi everyone!

I'd like to share BPRandr, a small monitor configuration tool I developed for Tiny Core Linux using FLTK 1.3.
It was inspired by LXRandR, but I wanted something lightweight, without a GTK dependency, that fits better into a minimal environment.
BPRandr lets you configure monitor resolutions, refresh rates, rotation and position. It also includes quick options for common dual-monitor setups and automatically restores the previous configuration if you don't confirm a change.

Please note: BPRandr requires Xorg with RandR support and does not work with the default Xvesa setup.

The project is available on GitHub:

I'd appreciate any feedback, suggestions or reports from anyone willing to give it a try. I'd especially like to hear how it works on different hardware and setups.

Thanks for your time!
