it builds and can be loaded with

tce-load -il ./lynx.tcz

but .. running it results in the same  error

Lynx web browser on Micro Core Linux:

• google.hu: No problem.
• hup.hu: Alert!: Error uncompressing temporary file!

Why?

id presume because configure has detected i have brotli in my path
and something about that build is lacking ?

i recalled trying to
tce search "idn"
but getting no results

just tried searching again and  libidn.tcz appeared so i have now loaded that ...though atm the error still persists

it appears to be runtime not build time dependency

or at least it is not mentioned in this 11.x script

will try and re-build/run in a fresh install or vm or similar unpolluted/sandbox environment
at the next convenient opportunity
 to find if the cause is build time or runtime

So I was thinking maybe:

it appears that they have been

ls /tmp/tcloop/|grep bz
bzip2/
bzip2-dev/
bzip2-lib/
libzstd/

bzip-dev was afair required for build
.. by configure option

...
but because i had
>tce Searched & Installed
 the missing deps
there was no history/log in my terminal of *exactly* what id tried load that
appeared to be required to satisfy `./configure ...`

... i guess i should just put pen to paper an make some build notes 

but hindsight made me ponder if some log of tce search exists
or could be tweaked to add "tce-load *whatever*" to .ash_history or similar

..

works fine so it might be some lynx config default
causing the error msg
