SAving Conky Config on shutdown not working?
« on: May 25, 2011, 08:29:50 PM »
Hello again.
I have been configuring conky and have noticed that when I go to shutdown and choose backup to save the tce settings that conky does not save its settings. I know that conky config is located in /usr/local/etc/conky/conky.conf (have that memorized, lol!) would these files be backed up upon shutdown or does the config need to be relocated?

Thanks for any assistance I can get. I am thinking of making a tutorial on what I am learning with Tinycore and uploading them if anyone would be interested.

Thanks again,

Alex

Hi alekie
Open the file  /opt/filetool.lst  and add  usr/local/etc/conky/conky.conf to it (NO leading backslash).

just put .conkyrc in HOME, you don't need to save the one in /usr.
