Suggestion - include persistent opt by default
« on: May 17, 2011, 01:18:10 AM »
Backup is designed to minimize writing to a usb drive, so the drive lasts longer.

The less that is in backup, the less writing, and the longer the drive will last.

If persistent opt was used by default, there would be less in backup.

I think most people using backup, would change settings in opt less often than running backup.
Many people see what is. Some people see what can be, and make a difference.

Persistent opt could not work with PC's without permanent storage, while until now TC can relatively easily run on such (booted from CD or netboot) and prepacks should facilitate that even further.

What I mean is, the installer should be set up so when Tiny Core is installed, persistent opt is included by default.
