Using microcore + X*.tcz..

When using the apps audit gui, I see four extension to be updated gtk2, gtk2-dev, libwnck and libwnck-dev. Selecting just one of the extensions, libwnck and clicking on "update selected", libwnck is downloaded (deps openssl-0.9.8, gtk2) and glibc_apps, which does not appear to be a recursive dep?

Note:
Code: [Select]
$ cat /tmp/apps_upd.lst
Updating libwnck.tcz OK
Checking dependencies:
Fetching required dependency: glibc_apps.tcz OK
Fetching required dependency: gcc.tcz

Could not reproduce. Worked as expected:
Code: [Select]
tc@dev:~$ cat /tmp/apps_upd.lst
Updating libwnck.tcz OK
Checking dependencies:
tc@dev:~$ ls -l  /mnt/sdb1/testing/optional/upgrade/
total 124

if I start HD / USB install from control panel, appears and disappears quickly a black terminal window.
From what i understand tc-install.sh is a command line installer and tc-install is a gui version, but i can find this second command on tinycore but not in microcore.

MC does not have gui apps.
If you are loading Xvesa or Xorg to go along with MC, you also need to load
Xlibs and Xprogs.
tc-install is in Xprogs.

Did you install the Xprogs.tcz that is in the release candidates directory?

Be careful not to update Xprogs with AppsAudit while it is still a release candidate.

Some issues were discovered and reported in the tinycore rc thread.
