fortran compiler
« on: February 03, 2009, 10:41:19 AM »
I was wondering if it would be possible to have a version of fortran in compiletc.
I'm trying to compile a program that requires a fortran compiler, and can't seem to
get anyway to work.  Hints and suggestions would be very welcome

I've tried gcc-gfortran binary, f2c and compiling gcc with gfortran enabled from source.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have used http://www.g95.org for years on different brands of linux. It is an excellent compiler.

I'll have to see if I can make it work on TC.

I just downloaded and untarred g95 on this tinycore! I am using the latest snapshot generic linux binary. It seems to be working fine.

tinycorelinux is amazing!
