xfburn doesn't start

In Xfce 4.6 libthunar-vfs-1.so.2 was provided by Thunar. Current Thunar do not have it as thunar-vfs is obsolate now. For backward compatibility it is moved to thunar-vfs.tcz which is posted already.

xfburn is compiled without thunar-vfs, thus most of the xfce dependecies drops making xfburn the lightest gui program for burning cd/dvds available in tc repos

Perhaps that might be "...lightest working gui program...".  An update request was submitted for xcdroast.tcz around the time of the ibiblio issues.  Maybe it has been overlooked in the effort to address the larger matter.

Yes, it was overlooked, and I didn't see the thread requesting an update.  I will put it on my list.
