AppBrowser connection failure--was working
« on: February 05, 2011, 08:22:41 PM »
I was able to connect using the AppBrowser earlier today; however, for about the past four hours I haven't been able to.  I have a good internet connection but when I troubleshoot the problem by running

tce-fetch.sh info.lst

I receive the following:

wget: server returned error: HTTP/1.1 404 not found.

I did a cat on /usr/bin/tce-fetch.sh but I'm too new to Linux to understand what the .sh file is really sending.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Possibly the server is busy.

You could try another mirror.
Many people see what is. Some people see what can be, and make a difference.

Many of the mirrors aren't mirroring yet, it's kind of a sad state right now.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Thanks to those who responded.

I just read some posts about the problems with the mirrors for the few weeks.

I picked a great weekend to load Tiny Core.  LOL.

So far I'm loving it other than the network issue.  I like the concept. Thanks to all who have spent so much time and effort creating it.

Still having problems.

I'm able to connect to the download site using a LAN connection.  However, when I try to download wicd-2.6.tcz, it fails with "Error on ncurses.tcz" and that's it.

Is a log kept?  How do I find what the error is? Suggestions?
