Persistent Custom Wallpaper
« on: January 04, 2011, 05:05:53 AM »
Hi,

I've been developing custom TC live discs and to make this a little easier I have a hard disk installation to use as a starting point.  Initially I did this using TC 3.3 and was able to set a custom wallpaper which was persistent across reboots.

When TC 3.4 came out, I deleted my TC 3.3 install and created a new HD installation from scratch.  Everything seems to work OK except my custom wallpaper.  What I see is a black screen rather than the default TC one, so part of the wallpaper configuration seems to be working, eg it is looking in the /opt/backgrounds directory for the file, but it isn't there so it can't load it.

When I look inside my /mnt/hda1/tce/mydata.tgz file there is a /opt directory but no /backgrounds directory within it.  Have I made a mistake when I reinstalled TC to my HD or is there a problem when the mydata.tgz file is created in 3.4?

Do you have opt/backgrounds listed in /opt/.filetool.lst?

Blush.  I'd forgotten that bit.  I vaguely remember doing this last time, but it had completely slipped my mind.

Thanks.
