smaller and fastest extension than gnumeric?
« on: January 03, 2011, 06:11:23 AM »
I used gnumeric yesterday for my home "business" plan 2011.
It is slow for my poor man pc specs.
is there any other extension using lower ram and running quicker? (without color background and all that stuff, only excel-like basic calculation and primitive text formats like bold/cursiv/underligned and left/center/right).
AMD K6-IIIATZ 550MHz MB DFI K6xv3/+66
P4 HP DC7100 3GB 3GHz
Samsung NC10 boot from SD card port (via USB reader)
.. all TinyCore proofed

A quick search for "speadsheet" in the TC3 repo turned up:
siag.tcz
gnumeric.tcz
flume.tcz

I can't comment on their suitability for your purpose as I don't use any of them.
