Installed Apps not showing up in AppsAudit
« on: December 14, 2010, 03:22:24 AM »
I can't see what I'm doing wrong here.  For convenience, I'm running TC installed on the local hard disk, rather than booting from the CD with local backup.  I don't know if that will affect what I'm seeing.

I have installed a number of extensions using the Apps Browser; for example lshw.  When I open AppsAudit and click 'Build Reporting Database' the installed Apps appear in the LH pane.  Except not all of them do; for example I can't see  lshw.

Am I missing something?

Hmmm.  I've just rebooted the machine and now lshw shows up!  I totally convinced it wasn't there before.  I was trying to use AppsAudit to view dependencies and examined the list several times before concluding that lshw wasn't there.

Perhaps there is a step I'm missing?

Rebooting probably made the difference.
Many people see what is. Some people see what can be, and make a difference.
