EmelFM2 Unable to Navigate after Update

TC3.1 machine.  No missing dependencies.

EmelFM2 is configured to show ~ in Pane 1 and /mnt in Pane 2.  Pre update this worked OK as a non-superuser.  Following the update, it is no longer possible to navigate away from these directories. 

Re-setting the opening defaults to show / in Pane 1 and / in Pane 2 then restarting EmelFM2, browsing is again possible.

Using EmelFM2 as superuser works OK.

Have you tried deleting your config file in ~ and making a new one?  I am having no trouble navigating anywhere as user tc.

Deleting the config file in order to obtain a fresh copy did restore the expected functionality.  The cause of the issue remains unknown.  I had not manually changed it and cannot recall any unusual event that may be responsible.

I don't have an idea what would cause it either, but possibly an incompatibility of generated config files amongst their release versions.
