Chromium Browser shared library error
« on: October 18, 2010, 06:34:03 AM »
Having added the Xfce4 desktop to the Microcore base (3.2) and the Firefox 4 beta and Chromium browsers I have have been unable to run Chromium - the reported error is:

/usr/local/chromium-browser/chromium-browser: error while loading shared libraries: libbz2.so.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

So I have added since almost anything connected with bzip - bzip2, libzip, xarchiver even. But the error persists - is this a bug in chromium or tc in which it's looking in the wrong place or for the wrong version [that is installed in tc] of the driver libbz2.so.1.0?

In the bzip2-lib extension, I believe an update is on the way.

The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Yes works fine now.
Thanks to all concerned.
