firewall
« on: September 19, 2010, 05:52:06 PM »
It's been awhile but seems like TC firewall install has changed. Last time I used TC i seem to recall installing both iptables and basic-firewall. And then basic-firewall appeared in my menu, and /usr/local/sbin/basic-firewall in .bootlocal.sh started firewall at boot. Now (13.1) I have iptables installed, but basic-firewall not an option in appbrowser. No /usr/local/sbin firewall and no firewall. What changed? What am I missing?

thx
m

Looks like the menu was lost in the autoconversion. The script however is still there in iptables, so as shown in the info, you can start it manually or from bootlocal.sh as before.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
