pcmanfm2 standalone use
« on: August 21, 2010, 11:26:00 PM »
I think it would be very useful to be able to use pcmanfm2 standalone; that way more users could be testing this beta version, without having to run the lxde environment.

So, what is needed to make it show icons? Is there a workaround for now, such as installing additional extensions? The lxde icon theme is already loaded, but no icons...

Thanks!

There were rapid changes around pcmanfm2 in the last 1-2 month in the way how to handle removable media. Why this is the latest beta version, in GIT there is a very different one, so to play with current tcz in repo just a wast of time. I'm waiting for the next beta. When it is available I will add icons you are looking for.

Its development was suspended for a while, but continued few weeks ago. There are no even beta versions available. As soon as it has sence I will make a new build.
