gedit plugins?

  Is this package present in TC repositories? The debian equivalent package is http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/gedit-plugins . this package has many essential plugins for any developer including the embedded-terminal plugin. If this is not present, how can I contribute with it ?

but we have a problem terminal plugin depends on python vte module and it must be compiled against python 2.7
