gtk2 is available for testing.  You can use the appbrowser to download and install gtk2 and it's dependencies if you want to test it, but you must install apps that depend on it by manually downloading and installing since the appbrowser or tce-load wget will install the current gtk+-2.tcel. 

For easy testing of this extension, first issue this command:

touch /usr/local/tce.installed/gtk+-2

Then install this extension from the appbrowser before installing any other gtk2 dependent apps.  Using the appbrowser at this point will fetch the apps but not the gtk+-2.tcel extension.



2.21.09: Upon testing on a cold boot, this extension is broken and will not display fonts.  The same problem on the first build of the current gtk2 and I will review my previous build notes and correct it.

2.22.09: The above was a simple omitting of running pango-querymodules and including the modules file with pango.  It is fixed and uploaded.
