why md5.txt?

Hey

Why is md5-files called
Code: [Select]
ext.tcz.md5.txtand not
Code: [Select]
ext.tcz.md5
Are there any problems by not adding .txt??

hi

I know I am not a member of the web team....but IMHO it is because your web browser knows how to open something called x.txt but does not know how to open extension x.md5 as per example

your web browser knows how to open something called x.txt
I would not open an md5-file in my browser. I do sometimes look at the .info, but I gain nothing at looking at the .md5.txt

When downloading a tcz from a browser, you can then open the md5.txt and save it.
