Question on wiki article
« on: May 30, 2010, 11:12:10 AM »
Meanwhile, I greet you.
I have a question, in this page of wiki  there is a contraddiction:

Quote
This article is obsolete, is not valid for current MC 2.11 version. Requires rewrite !!

This guide assumes that you are running the latest Final Release of MicroCore (currently 2.11)
uhm? Which is true?

How about you find out yourself to which degree the Wiki page is correct or not and update it accordingly?

A quick look into the directory indicates to me that the three mentioned *.gz files (and there checksums) are still there and have just been updated a few days ago. Furthermore I can't see why 'tce-load' should not work as expected. One thing I noted whilst quickly scanning the page was that it claims for 'flwm' to be the default WM. That is not 100% correct since the default WM is 'flwm_topside', but that should not cause any problem at all.

I do not use tinycore for a long time, I would not have been able to detect.

However, I think that the wiki should be clearer and less doubtful.

Thanks for answer  ;)

I have been working on updating the article in question since the obsolete tag was placed on it and it was brought to my attention.  Most of the information should be correct, but there may still be a few things that need editing or more explanation.  My time to work with TC has been very limited recently, but I will try to finish updating soon.
