Install on NTFS flash drive
« on: May 25, 2010, 10:52:01 AM »

Hello,

I'm trying to install the distro on a NTFS flash drive.  I have heard most LINUX's
have NTFS-3G already in them but the install screen doesn't specify this type.

Could you put the NTFS option in the install screen ?   I really don't want to
learn a bunch of console commands today.  It's a 16 GB flash drive and is
formatted with NTFS.   Can I get TinyCore to install on it ?

Thanks,

Patrick

No, we don't support installing on NTFS, nor is there NTFS or NTFS-3G support in the base. If you must use NTFS, you're on your own.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
