TC 2.9.0 gpxe network boot problem
« on: March 05, 2010, 11:53:18 AM »
Hi,

when I try the new Tinycore 2.9.0 in my gpxe netbooting setting I get these error message:

Direct after
http://path/to/my/tinycore-290.gz.. ok
http://path/to/my/bzImage-290.. ok
Direct booting from floppy is no longer supported.
Please use a boot loader program instead.

Remove disk and press any key to reboot . . .

I can not imagine this have to be that way and its not longer possible to load tinycore via gpxe... is it?

The kernel has not changed between 2.8 and 2.9. Maybe a gpxe bug.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Next time I check the checksum ;)
