Could it be possible to keep on-demand items away from the wbar?
« on: December 25, 2009, 09:03:28 AM »
Testing the new feature --- on-demand; it's a great feature!

It seems to me, an extension without its icon (e.g., conky) can be fired directly by clicking it on the on-demand list. But with its icon (e.g., shiretoko) it will be not be fired; but displayed on the wbar. It takes another clicking to be fired.

Could it be possible to have single clicking on-demand items (with or without icons); keep them away from the wbar?

With or without existing icon, with or without existing menu item, you get single click load and launch applications. You are prompted for Title and binary to run (if any) when using on demand.

When an application is loaded it will still exhibit the same items as when loaded normally, i.e., an icon (if any), and a menu item under Applications ( if any).

From what you wrote it appears that you did not enter shiretoko as the binary when prompted.

I will reinstall a fresh TC2.7 and test it again.

No need to reinstall 2.7, just run ondemand and use the same title for shiretoko as you did before, it will overwrite the old item.

Thanks, Robert.

They are indeed single click loaded; I probably had a hybrid setting from 2.7rc2, which caused the problem.
