From what I have seen, the project has been referred to as "TC"

For (future) searches, using the full project name would probably be better anyways.

Hey Folks!

It is so good to see all of you here.  Many of you have been friends-in-linux for years.
Several of you are new to both linux and/or the community. Welcome!

Hats off to roberts for making this all possible.   The core lives.

This is weird. I've been lurking DSL for years and now this.
I am excited about it, but it's still weird.
Or maybe it's just me that is weird,.... that could be it....

Anyway, good to 'see' some 'old timers' here.

Regards,

Green.

Congratulations to Robert and the crew for getting this all working.  I was shocked to not only get an internet connection by default,  but flash9 video with sound. OSS is a gem...I didn't expect it to work, since alsa never worked with my audio card.  I'm using a Dell laptop, C600.   Web site looks nice, too!

ps.   what is the weird " I " in bzimage.gz? I had to rename it for inclusion in Grub.

..good to see another friendly face  :)

bzImage is what it gets called by default when you compile the kernel  ;)

"tinycore" only needs to be said once per page (and not on every page) to make a difference on google. they are always changing their algorithms and on most search engines, saying "tinycore" and saying "tinycore tinycore tinycore" should be about the same, unless they like being gamed easily.

"tinycore linux" would get incredibly monotonous, both to read and to type. that would also encourage the very "tcl" abbreviation that' we're trying to avoid, so "tinycore" once per page (or whenever it's natural to call it that,) and "tc" in general seems to be the best convention we could demonstrate to other users.
