I added /usr/local/tce.wbar to my .filetool.lst but it isn't persisting between boots? I am using OpenBox if that makes a difference. When I reboot, the icons that I removed come back. Any ideas?

Thank you. For anyone else reading this here's the low-down. It's non-trivial :(

The /usr/local/tce.wbar is re-created on every boot overwriting any changes you have previously made. One workaround is to copy tce.wbar to your /home folder then in /usr/bin/wbar.sh replace /usr/local/tce.wbar with /home/tc/tce.wbar. Make sure to add /usr/bin/wbar.sh and /home/tc/tce.wbar to your /opt/filetool.lst so that they persist between boots. The downside to all this is that new applications won't automatically add their icon to your new file. So you will have to do that manually. After installing an app, I open the original /usr/local/tce.wba and copy the entry I need to the one in my /home.

Good luck.
