VMware resolution after local hard drive installation

I have installed tinycore 2.6 in vmware player.

I can boot fine, however after the installation of open-vm-tools, my resolution is defaulting to 640x480.

How do I change it back to 1024x768  ???

If you are using xorg, you can edit its settings, i.e. via xorg.conf

Are you using Xorg or default Xvesa?
