There is an interesting review at DISTROWATCH. Final conclusion:

Quote
I must say I found openSUSE 11.2 to be a major disappointment. I've come to expect better, much better, from Novell. If it weren't for the stability issues with KDE and relatively poor netbook support this distribution would have been a keeper for me. There really is a lot to like. Perhaps the results will be different for people with different hardware. For me, though, openSUSE 11.2 just doesn't compare favorably to the other major distributions and I can't recommend it at this time.

What is happening with big distros?  ???

Suspicion is they have been developed by MS people for some time, so doom of Linux as we know is approaching.  It is time to dump all those big ones...Linux community shot itself in the foot by loading them with bloat and garbage, instead of focusing on creating one good quality distro. At this point the only hope is in small and swift and Tiny Core has a good chance to play a big role in this...

i agree.  they have screwed themselves by saying they can be light, fast, and have everything.  well you cant do that.  thats just way to much bloat which then makes you slow.  plus half of the applications they include the average person dosent need or will never use.  kde is heavy as hell as well(at least its modular now).  the only thing you really need is a lightweight minimalist distro where you pick what you need and want and avoid the bloat.
