Tinycore/Microcore LFS Edition
« on: November 10, 2009, 08:30:50 PM »
I will be (attempting) to put together a LFS edition of tinycore/microcore(a tinycore/microcore LFS capable host, not a LFS version of tinycore/microcore :P)  with the necessary tools built against the LFS 6.5 release.  Wish me luck. ;D

One thing that i would like to know is what specific kernel does tinycore 2.5 use?  if it's equal to or greater then 2.6.18 and was compiled with gcc 3.0 or later awesome.  if not i have a lot more work to do.  any response would be helpful.  or suggestions as well.  than you.

unzip; strip; touch; finger; mount; fsck; more; yes; unmount; sleep  - my daily unix command list

thank you juanito.  i only ask because the book specificity states "the kernel has to have been compiled using gcc 3.0 or greater".  is this so with tinycore's kernel?
