LABEL and UUID don't accept directories
« on: October 25, 2009, 04:26:21 AM »
Hi there,

First of all, thank you very much for making TC :)

I've noticed that you can't specify a directory when using LABEL and UUID. For example, if i use tce=LABEL=CORE/data/tce in the boot command line, it won't be recognised. In _this_ case the tce directory will be found anyway because of autoscan, but the same doesn't happen with opt=LABEL=CORE/data/opt or restore=LABEL=CORE/data/opt or home=LABEL=CORE/data/home.

Thank you.

home and opt are expected to be /home and /opt and not moved further down into other directories.

The new default backup file location is the tce directory, and as you pointed out tce with directory works.
