Here is the list of tinycore wireless kernel modules:

http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/2.x/tcz/wireless-2.6.29.1-tinycore.tczm.list

If these adapters don't use one of the kernel modules in wireless-2.6.29.1-tinycore, then you will need to add something first

The Netgear WAG card is Atheros, which needs wireless-mod extension; don't know about USB.
I've used both Netgear and Linksys cards with TC successfully.

In order to help, more information is required.

Load extension usb-utils

Then open a terminal:

$ lsusb

Post the results.

As suspected, your device needs the firmware drivers.

Go here for instructions to install it:
