The Fifth Release Candidate of v2.4 (tinycore_2.4rc5.iso), is now posted and ready for testing.
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/tinycorelinux/2.x/release_candidates/

Change log for v2.4 Release Candidate 5
* Updated busybox cpio replaces gnu cpio
* Dropped pci.ids. Use extension
* Updated tce-setup exits upon error from tce-load
* Updated tc-config reports error via tce-load, tce-setup, even when using default rotdash.


Hopefully this will be the last RC before final.

remeber to eliminate the pci  list from system stats

Could you remind me as to what extension you are referring to.

mounting an usb pendrive (fat formatted) with mnttoll, normal user can't write on it.
Mounting with xfe, the user has full access.

usb install script: nolocal doesn't need 2 be added in the append line of syslinux.cfg

I noticed we are now back to a side title flwm. Are we not going to use the top side tiltle in the base anymore?

No. top-side will be in final! I am getting mileage on both. This should not affect testing that which is listed in the change log.
